Debit cards will be issued to Kia and Hyundai owners who bought automobiles sold as having better fuel economy than they actually have. There was a mistake during one of the stages of testing which attributed falsely higher gas mileage values to several vehicles that are on the road right now.
But don't worry.
Owners of these cars simply have to go to the dealer and have their odometers checked. They will issue debit cards based on mileage, local gas costs and an extra 15%. And they will be entitled to continuous refunds for as long as they own the vehicle.
